Wet N'Wild Mega Last Quick Dry Ultra Gloss Topcoat: Product Review

The key to getting a long lasting manicure is to use a good base and topcoat, neither of which needs to be an expensive brand. Topcoats are used as a protective barrier for your nail polishes, it keeps the colors from chipping, peeling and scratching, which means you can go for at least a week before having to get your nails redone. One of my favorite topcoats is Wet n'Wild Mega Last quick dry ultra gloss; I know, the name is a mouthful.

Wet n'Wild Mega Last quick dry ultra gloss topcoat is design to give your nails a lot of shine as well as provide the usual nail polish protection. It also dries fast and is free of chemicals like toluene, formaldehyde and phthalate.

My Experience
Pros

There are several reasons as to why I absolutely love this topcoat and it's pretty much the only one I use. The first thing is that it's very affordable and although it's one of those "cheap" brands it's not a cheap product. Wet n' Wild Mega Last quick dry ultra gloss topcoat can be found in most drug stores, Wal-Mart and Target stores. I believe I got mine at Walgreens for around a dollar. This topcoat is my favorite because not only is it super affordable but it works very well. I like that the handle is long and slim, it makes holding and controlling the brush all that easier. Wet n' Wild's Mega Last quick dry ultra gloss topcoat really is glossy, it adds a nice thick shiny coat to my nails that really makes my nail color pop. It dries fast too, in a minute or less. This topcoat does a great job of protecting my nail colors, even with the worst nail polishes there isn't any chipping, peeling or scratching for about a week. Used with a good quality nail polish and you won't have to redo your nails for over a week.

Cons

My only complaint about Wet n' Wild's Mega Last quick dry ultra gloss topcoat is that the smell is very strong so I'd suggest keeping it as far away from your nose as possible. I would also recommend not taking any deep breaths while you're applying this topcoat.

Verdict

Although Wet n' Wild's Mega Last quick ultra gloss topcoat smells very strong it's nothing most of us couldn't handle. Considering the high quality of this topcoat and it's very small price I'd definitely buy this product again and would for sure recommend it to anyone.
