What Are the Best Choices for Fast Food Fish?

Now that it is Lent, Can We Make the Best Fish Choices?

Diane Zoller-Ciatto
Now that Lent is here, there are seven Fridays when Catholics cannot eat meat if they are over the age of 14. Although there are great meals we can make at home, we sometimes just want to grab a bite out on a Friday night. Friday night is the night my sister and I go out together to go to Weight Watchers, shop and just have some sisterly fun. She will never eat fish unless it is canned tuna and sometimes we will split a Subway tuna sub or grab a slice or two of pizza. But many times we will save our PointsPlus values so we can splurge on Friday night after our meeting and before we do our weekly shopping.

So here are some choices for fast food fish meals that are always offered or specialties just for Fridays in Lent:

    good report, Diane!

good article but these sandwiches are not healthy choices, mcdonald's filet of fish only gets a D+ rating, there is more fat in the sandwhich than there is protein which you need for good health

Mmmm sounds yummy right now. I like local fried Alaskan halibut burgers more, though. Helpful article!
