What to Get Your Best Friend for Their Birthday

So it is about time for your friend to get a little bit older. Perhaps you are now looking for ideas in advance or maybe just completely forgot about the date and are now picking something up at the last second, either way you need to get the perfect gift for your best friend. A great gift is often one that comes from the heart and is given with the knowledge that has come from years of being around this person. It's something that may make him or her happy or be useful around the house. I obviously don't know your friend, however, there are a number of great gifts that can be given without regard to gender, age, or there demographics.

Music: Hooking your friend up with their favorite tunes is always a fun way to appeal to their tastes and be thoughtful. It's also an inexpensive last second idea that can get you plenty brownie points.

Make Something: Ok this is probably to apply to the female centric gift givers and receivers, but making something is a personal gesture that shows how much you care for the person. It could be literally anything, a card, photo album or scrapbook, painting or perhaps another crafty item that can be used as a decorative accessory.

Topical Book: If your friend like to read, or at least appreciates a topic of interest, getting book or magazine subscription as a gift isn't a horrible idea. It will allow him or her to further explore their favorite topic perhaps improving their hobby or personal self interests.

Vacation, Get Away, or Dinner: This doesn't have to extravagant like flying to Greece for a week or whatever. Simply taking them to the spa or a fancier dinner than normal would be sufficient for birthday circumstances.
