How did Blogging Start?
People wanted to find a way to get information across to others in regards to their online visits. The discussion would be about their visits to other sites and then they would provide the link back to these other websites on their blog. Eventually, a trend started and people started keeping blogs as their personal journals. As this trend grew, countless people started putting together informative blogs that would discuss different social niches; as interest increased for their sites-so did their income.
Your blogs can be a way to gain a devoted audience. Once your visitors start enjoying your writings, they will more than likely continue to go to your site. As you increase informative content and you gain more visitors-your ratings will increase with search engines as well. As your ratings increase with search engines, more and more people will be able to locate your site and find your advertisements, which can create remarkable passive income.
When I started to blog-I didn't know anything about the technical side of blogging. I was fortunate enough to have a mentor. Make sure that you have someone walk you through the steps because it's more than just creating a website. You are creating a way to make additional income and will need to know how to market your site and you also need to know what to do in regards to technical issues that may arise. Not all sites will be profitable and that is why money shouldn't be your focus when setting your sites up; you should focus on your topic and the content. The content needs to interesting and informative enough for people to make their way to your site.
As a mother of two beautiful girls-I can say that I love the freedom that blogging provides me. When my husband is at work, I am able to make sure that the kids are off to school and that the dinner is made before everyone gets home. To be honest with you-I was one of the ones who didn't know what blogging meant until I stumbled across the word and wanted to know more about it; and since I enjoy writing and talking about subjects I love, this really fit me.
There are so many free resources that can help you market your site. Being a mother of two and experiencing layoffs several times-I had to take control of my income and I'm glad that I did.
Boy-have I made some foolish mistakes when it came to trying to make money online. Save yourself some time, money and your hair from being pulled out by visiting my
