What to Get Your Boyfriend for Valentine's Day

Fabienne Hernandaise
Figuring out what to get you girlfriend for Valentine's Day is pretty simple. You could go with the cliché chocolates and roses and pair it with a nice bottle of wine. Jewelry is also another popular option. But unfortunately, buying gifts for the opposite is not that easy and potential presents do not just come to mind out of nowhere. Most guys do not like the same things girls do, which makes finding them a Valentine's Day gift more painful rather than pleasurable. Here are some presents your boyfriend or husband might actually really like.

Is your boyfriend a gamer? Does he play Modern Warfare 2 like it's his job? If yes, he will probably appreciate you buying him a new title to play. Video games for XBOX 360 and PS3 are quite expensive so people buy them sparingly. You will be doing him a huge favor buying him a new video game and it will also remind him of you every time he plays it, or maybe not...

Another feasible option is something for his car. Does he love his Honda Civic more than he loves you? In that case, buying him the part his been eyeing on eBay all month will probably do the trick. Maybe he wants a new muffler or fog lights, whatever it may be, he will be beaming with joy at just the thought of installing it in his car and showing off to his buddies.

Is your guy in a band or does he simply eat, sleep, breathe music? Then maybe getting him tickets to his favorite band's show would be a good idea. Remember to get two tickets so you can go with him too to make the experience more meaningful. This is also a viable option is he specifically has a favorite comedian or sports team that he wants to see live.Maybe your boyfriend is more of the gadget type and likes to tinker around with the latest and newest technology. In that case, think of products he might like such as a new iPod or maybe his laptop is getting old and he needs a new one to easily carry around to class; then, a netbook would be a very good option. Get into a conversation with him about the things he likes most and then work your way from there and branch out to be able to get the best idea on what gift would be best for him.

You're still writing here, even after that nasty Portugal article wherein--as many point out--your gross ignorance and total unreliability were quite on display? My dear, I suggest sticking to things you do know about, which does not include things such as Portugal and this article.
