BASEBALL (mlb.com)
If you go to the "Shop" section of the Major League Baseball website (MLB.com), you will find the usual assortment of jerseys and caps for all the major league teams. The site also features more unique items like the Johnny Damon knucklehead doll, an oversized bobblehead of the New York Yankees outfielder.

If you're a Dodgers fan, you can buy a 12-inch script of the word "Dodgers" like on the front of the home jerseys. You can frame it and put it up in your office or den.

If you're bummed that your Chicago White Sox didn't make it back to the World Series, you can spend the winter watching the official DVD of the 2005 Series. You can also read a pair of books on the Sox win. They are called "Chicago White Sox Pride," and "The Pride of Chicago." Yes, those are two different books.

If you are raising a young Houston Astros fans, you can get her a two-piece sleeper (for a baby) a small cap (for a toddler) or a pencil cup (for when she starts school).

BASKETBALL (store.nba.com)
If your favorite sports fan already has 10 LeBron James jerseys, you can always get him NBA Live '07 for the Play Station 2 or X-Box. You can also get a workout bag that is shaped like a basketball. It even has room for a water bottle for when you're done playing.

If you're an old-school fan, you can pick up a track jacket for the old Miami Floridians in the "Hardwood Classics" section of the site. The NBA Soul section focuses on old-style jerseys and other items with classic team logos.

The WNBA section includes items like personalized team jerseys, a Detroit Shock wall clock and a LA Sparks blanket. You can snuggle under it while watching the game, even though the WNBA is played indoors in the summertime.

FOOTBALL (nflshop.com)
Get ready for winter with the NFL's "Storm Collection" of hats and coats. The site also has "midweight" jackets for when it's not too cold.

Not content with clothing the top half of its fans' bodies, the NFL also has a collection of fleece pants and pajama pants. Now your kids can know what your favorite team is without having to look up.

The NFL has an assortment of throwback jerseys, in case you want people to know that you still love Dan Marino, Joe Namath or Jack Lambert. You can also decorate your office with your favorite team's helmet and a team ball that can list your name as the Most Valuable Player.

Also, the NFL is smart enough to get into the tailgating craze. If you want to hang out in the parking lot before the game, you can buy a chair, a canopy, a barbecue set and a card table of your favorite team.

NASCAR (store.nascar.com)
We have to start with the Halloween costumes for Jeff Gordon and Dale Earnhardt Jr. They are just $19.99. Even if you've missed Halloween, you can get the Jeff Gordon or Jimmie Johnson teddy bear Christmas ornaments.

NASCAR continues its creative streak with a Tony Stewart robe - perfect for hopping out of the shower and watching the race for several hours.

You can also get a die-cast replica of Dale Jr.'s car which comes with a real piece of the track, or you can pick up a real piece of sheet metal from Kasey Kahne's car.

SOCCER (mlsgear.com)
You can rest up for the game with the ironic New York Red Bulls pillow. It's only $4.99. The mlsgear.com site also has a good variety of kids' shirts in many different styles. If your wife is crazy about the Real Salt Lake team, you'll make her "Real Happy" if you get her the chain necklace featuring the team logo. Maybe she will respond in kind by giving you the Real Salt Lake ring.
