What Your Car Says About You

Juliegirl
You may not realize it but what you choose to drive says a lot about you. What kind of lifestyle you lead and even what kind of personality you have. Read on to find out what your vehicle's been saying about you.

When you see a Bentley, Lexus or a Mercedes you tend to think the driver is rich, well to do, etc. Most of them are. They are usually well dressed and put together. Career oriented. Now the other day I did see an older model beat up old Lexus and the aforementioned perceptions were definitely not mine that day. That though is not the norm. I don't see too many beat up old Lexus'.

Now I realize that a lot of this could be just perceptions, but I tend to think they are more accurate than not. It's just the way it is. When you see a brand new red sports car zooming down the highway with an older gentleman driving you tend to draw one conclusion: midlife crisis. You also draw a few conclusions when you see a hunky guy driving one of those red sports cars. Rich. Conceited. Thinks he is all that and a bag of chips. Perhaps he just wants everyone to think that he is. Then when you see a young girl driving one of those shiny sports cars you think she is a rich spoiled brat. Now come on, you know you do!

When you see a minivan or SUV you tend to think of it as a family mobile. Perhaps the term "soccer mom" comes to mind. You envision a couple of car seats and McDonalds fries in the back seat.

When I see a Honda, Toyota, or a small compact car I think of either a single individual or student. Perhaps someone who travels a lot and is trying to get the best gas mileage possible.

Big Dodge Dually's and jacked up Fords and Chevy's make me think of cowboys who are rough and tough. Perhaps a bull rider or a bronc rider. Flat beds make me think of a hard working farmer.

When you see a motorcycle zooming down the highway you think of someone who loves adventure and fun. They love the feel of the open road. Perhaps it even makes you think of a Hells Angel or two. You may even be frightened by some of them. In reality, most of the rough and tough motorcycle riders you see are very nice and are nothing like their stereotype.

Now I realize it is kind of harsh to be judged by what you drive. I am not saying it is right, just that it is what it is.
