What Channel is the Denver Broncos Game on Thanksgiving Night?
Where on Television Can the Denver Broncos Game Against the New York Giants Game Be Found on Thanksgiving?
Millions of Denver Broncos fans are wondering what television channel the team's Thanksgiving night game against the New York Giants can be found on. As Thanksgiving is a holiday that is as much associated with football as it is with turkey and parades, most assume that all NFL games will be readily accessible on network television, or at least easily accessible cable channels.
The fact is, though, the Denver Broncos Thanksgiving night game against the New York Giants cannot be found on any of the major networks, or even on a cable channel that most have. For the vast majority of the nation, the Denver Broncos Thanksgiving Day game will be shown only the NFL network; a cable station not available on most basic cable television packages.
As most of the country does not have the NFL network, most NFL fans will unfortunately not be able to watch the Thanksgiving night Denver Broncos game against the New York Giants. So if a Denver Bronco fan living in Dallas (it is theoretically possible), then he would need to have the NFL network, or find a Dallas sports bar willing to turn off a re-run of a Dallas Cowboy practice, for example, and show the game.
Similarly, the NFL network carries most of the Thursday night NFL games during the season. The Thanksgiving night game, however, is bound to capture the attention of many more fans as the Thanksgiving holiday is a time when people gather to watch NFL games.
However, NFL rules stipulate that in the home market of the teams playing, the game will be broadcast over the air in the local market if the game is being played on a cable channel.
So for those Denver Broncos fans in the Denver market without the NFL network, fear not. You can watch the Denver Broncos play the New York Giants on Thanksgiving night on Fox 31.
Fox 31 is part of the Fox network and is commonly used to televise Denver Broncos games when their games are being carried on a cable channel, both on Thanksgiving night as well as during the rest of the regular season, so that fans of the Denver Broncos can watch their games whether they have cable, or the NFL network, or not.
