What Christmas Means to Me - My Christmas Story

Christmas means decorating a tree, presents, spending time with family and getting up early Christmas morning. To me decorating my Christmas tree is fun. I love decorating my white Christmas tree in blue. I especially love putting the Snow Buddies ornaments that I have been collecting on the tree. This year I bought an animated tree skirt that will go along with my tree topper. My tree topper is Santa and a reindeer that goes in a circle. I can not wait to put my Christmas tree up.

Christmas means presents to give and receive. I like to pick out presents, but I love to wrap them better. I love it so much that I sometimes go to my mom's and my aunt's house to wrap theirs because they do not like to wrap. I love picking out the wrapping paper, the bows, and the gift tag. I am going to have to buy some ribbon this year and use it to make them really pretty.

Christmas means spending time with family. Its a time where everybody is usually off from work. Its a time when you see family members that you might not have seen since last Christmas and catch up on what you have missed. Its about eating and sharing stories. Seeing the children grow up and the adults getting older and grayer. Its also a time when I have to go to 2 or 3 houses to eat.

Christmas to me means getting up early Christmas morning. I love getting up early Christmas morning just to see what presents I have got. You can ask my parents because I have woke them up at 3am before and they had just got to bed from putting toys together. I am now an adult and I still get up early and go their house and wake them up. They expect it now or they they will think something is wrong with me.
