What Christmas was Intended to Be

when did christmas become all about money and

presents? When did christmas change from

something so beautiful, giving, and meaningful

to something so much the opposite?

We worry about how big and fancy our gifts

will be, and how we have to make sure we dont

forget about the dinner at so and so's house.
Smile in all the pictures, because its

christmas!! What happened to the real meaning

of christmas?

You lost it so long ago, beneath the packages

and wallets, the wreaths and songs, the toy

returns and the dissapointment of not getting

exactly what you asked for.

When did christmas stop being about family?

When did it stop revolving around love, and

start revolving around time?

Its CHRISTmas, not X-Mas.

Its about the celebrating of jesus birth. The

smiling. the happiness that should be spread

all year long, but cant even find your eyes on

the day that Christ was born!

You should be happy to see family! How would

you feel if you spent your christmas

dissapointed at a gift, and didnt realize that

someone did that from their heart, and you

just broke theirs. What if that was the last

christmas with that person in your family?

We need more SMILING
we need more LOVE
we need more HAPPINESS
WE NEED TO REALIZE THAT CHRISTMAS REVOLVES

AROUND THE THINGs THAT GOD STANDS FOR....LOVE,

FAITH, KINDNESS, HOPE.

This year I hope you take less time worrying

about shopping, and more time watching movies

with your family.
This year I hope you spend less time thinking

about where you have to be next, and more time

worrying about where you are now.

This year I hope you can get the meaning of

christmas back, because we should be

celebrating with family, not sulking alone, we

should be smiling, not fighting, we should be

kind, and do all the things we would do as if

it were our last christmas with our families.
Because you never know when that christmas,

the final time with your families will be, and

if it was this christmas, dont you think you

should show them how much you care?

Spend time wisely, dont let the fast lane of

life take you past the most important times

you can spend with your loved ones.

Christmas is about giving, not getting!
about being selfless not selfish.
Its not about the food or the gifts,
Its about the birth of christ, and getting to

know your family over again.

Spend this time carefully, and think about
what I have written.

remember that Christmas is not all about you,

its about Christ, Its about family.
It is the one thing that this world should

never be able to take from our hearts.
The time of year you should give all you have,

without prejudice.
