At least the verbal aspect of the show should be available for you to view before hand. If a magician tells you that they have a set magic routine but that they just wing the verbal part of the show, then it is best to look else where.

A magic show that has audience participation will have your child and his/her friends engaged and entertained far more than a sit and watch only magic show.
