What Customer Service Reps Don't Tell You!

100% Customer Satisfaction Guarantee is Not Part of Our Policy!

A Disturbed Mind Speaks!
I remember a time when you could buy something and return it if it didn't live up to its standard that were promised. You could go and get your money back. Now if you return the item you can't have your money back .You can have a lousy store credit which in some cases has a expiration date. Which means I know you didn't get what you paid for and we are not going to give you your money back. Instead you can have something else that will be just as bad as the first product if not worse. Hurry and come back fast or we get to keep your money and you get nothing! The problem is that nobody tells you this when you are making the purchase. They tell you how they are having this great big sale and if you have any problems you may return it within xx amount of days with the receipt.

I have my receipt to my purchase which does not live up to the standard of quality promised. It somehow doesn't work and neither do all the troubleshooting solutions on the guide that came with the item. I am on my way to return it. I get there get only to be upset by the customer service representative. I am upset because now I have just been informed that the item is no longer a sale item. Which means the thought of me getting a replacement just went out of the window. If I want a replacement I have to pay the difference. Well how about repair service? Sure if you would like we can have the technicians take a look at it for a small fee. What happens if the technician can't repair my product? You will just have to exchange the product for something of equal or lesser value. Someone please explain to me where is the satisfaction in this for me or any other customer.

I try to be understanding I really do but honestly how can anyone be if you aren't getting what you paid for? Customer service is bad all around even over the phone. The automated phone service which you have to go through to speak to a real person. Who's idea was that? Why bother with the automated service if the rep who answers the phone is going to ask me the same exact questions over again? I have tried calling to try and resolve some of these issues over the phone but I think that annoys me even more because not only are you on hold for a long period of time but when someone finally answers the phone they tell you to please hold while they transfer your call to the correct department where a sales specialist can better assist you. So I tell myself okay it's not the reps fault that I had been transferred to the wrong department he's going to help me by sending me in the right direction. Think again because now I have been transferred and not only has the rep not informed the new rep what my issue is the rep says that the issue I have is one that he can't help me with because its not a problem that his department deals with. I take a moment to analyze what has just been said to me and then I ask but aren't you a specialist? Yes ma'am it's just that I don't specialize in customer service I only specialize electronics. Now by this point I am so angry I give up and let them keep the money!

Stores today show no value toward customer service satisfaction. Its all about speed of service and how much they can get you to spend. Almost like nothing else matters anymore. Honestly I would much rather spend my money where the service isn't so much about how fast you can take my money and send me on my way but a place that really cares about my needs and wants as a customer. Like I said earlier its not worth the aggravation keep your money and I will keep my sanity! In the end I get the last laugh because not only will you never have my business again but you won't have the business of any of the people who I tell about your poor customer service.

I think customer service is dead, and when I experience bad customer service I write about it. When I'm not treated fairly, a place won't get my business again. If everyone would do this maybe these places would stop treating the customers like trash. They think someone else will always come along, but word of mouth means more than they realize. Excellent write up.

Ithink the reason is to discourage us from wanting to get our money back if its that complicated most people become so upset they don't even complain and the stores continur to have great customer satisfaction ratings just by doing what they are doing

lol I know isn't sad?It makes me wonder what the world is coming to these days you know. When I was growing up i think i didn't realize it then but people were a lot more friendly, honest, considerate and well over all just different and i hate to even think it but much better human beings almost.I know there will be people who will disagree with me but thats okay because my articles aren't factual for everyone you know.I only write to express my opionions and point of views.Don't get me wrong I am not lying just that my truth and expereince may not be any one elses.

pretty bad exp. well it's true when you talk about the sales thingy, everywhere. Its like you are welcome when you have the money and when that is gone, you get lost as well kind of a thing. To think of it.. if its 100% customer satisfaction, how are these guys gonna run the business!
