What My Daughter Thinks of Abercrombie

Some people question why their kids should shop at Abercrombie. People think that they have ridiculously high prices and cheap quality clothes. My 11 year old daughter shops at Abercrombie and she always tries to convince me to buy her more and more clothes from there. After a while, I understood why she wanted to shop there. Abercrombie may have high prices but there quality is very good. I bought my daughter a shirt when she was in the 3rd grade. Now she is in 6th grade- and that shirt has not ripped or faded even after washing it over several times. Now my seven year old daughter wears the same shirt. When I was buying her many things from Abercrombie, I thought that I was crazy to spend that kind of money. I could not believe the prices and thought of Abercrombie as a rip off. But now as I continue to buy more and more things for my daughter from Abercrombie, I started to realize that may be it isn't bad buying clothes from them after all.

Abercrombie is known for its classic style, long lasting quality, and unique designs. Many people have been wearing Abercrombie for years. Abercrombie clothes are long lasting. They have great quality. Even after washing a simple pair of $50 jeans in the washer several times, it won't shrink it at all. Their clothes can be fit and stretchable. Some people tend to buy a bigger size so it will last a long time, but at Abercrombie whether you buy the right size, or a bigger size it doesn't matter because their designs are made to stay the same size and won't shrink even after washing and drying. Abercrombie has everything; ranging from shoes, to clothes, to belts, and to accessories. It has the greatest style and most preteens would rather buy their clothes from a popular teenager brand then a well known store such as Target. Many people wear clothes from Abercrombie because this store has something a preteen would proud to wear with a well-known brand.

Abercrombie & Fitch has over 300 locations in US and its brand and logo of moose has an international recognition. According to Wikipedia, Abercrombie operates under four different brands: Abercrombie (where my daughter buys), Hollister Co, Gilly Hicks and Ruehl N. 925. The store was founded by David T. Abercrombie in 1892.

Abercrombie has high prices but it should not be the reason not to buy from the store. It is definitely a pricey store; to buy just a top is usually about $9 at a regular store but about $19 at Abercrombie. Pants or jeans which my daughter loves to wear are about $15-20 in the other stores but at Abercrombie one pair of jeans is $60, almost triple the price of regular jeans.

Although Abercrombie does have clearance sale and some of their items go down half price; however their clearance isn't that much of a clearance. Buying a pair of jeans at $60 a piece doesn't mean it is bad quality. My daughter says that they are very comfortable and long lasting. She claims- in writing- they fit perfectly from the top and it is longer length at the bottom to last longer. My daughter doesn't only buy things from Abercrombie; she has probably the most stuff than all the other stores combined.

By the way, I am broke!

Unique slant, like the way you presented this with your daughter's viewpoint and reasoning.
