What is the David Caruso Effect? Are CSI's Jorja Fox and George Eads Experiencing It?
George Eads and Jorja Fox Heat Up the Web
The George Eads and Jorja Fox Connection
George Eads and Jorja Fox, both from CBS's CSI are heating up the web this week, but for different reasons.
The last time CSI's George Eads and Jorja Fox the two were so popular was back in 2004 when they were both temporarily fired from the hit CBS drama, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation?.
According to reports both George Eads and Jorja Fox neglected to show up for work after a salary negotiation. (IMDB.com). Perhaps that is why the popularity of Jorja Fox and George Eads is again linked.
George Eads
There are searches for George Eads girlfriend, and George Eads shirtless. With so many searches for nude female celebrities, there had to be some fair play at some point.
There are no indications that George Eads is leaving CSI. Although, George Eads certainly has the looks, the talent and the following to successfully carry a leading man role on the big screen.
George Eads is staying on CSI.
Jorja Fox
Jorja Fox has finally spilled the beans about her future (or lack thereof) with the CBS crime drama, CSI, in the recent issue of Entertainment Weekly. It has been undeniably confirmed that she is leaving the show.
The fact that we know she is leaving the show takes all the tension and excitement out of future story lines with Gil, including his upcoming marriage proposal. If she's leaving the show, chances are the character is going to have to refuse his proposal.
There are other alternatives of course, Jorja Fox's character could accept the proposal, they get married and she becomes a stay-at-home mom who is never seen on the show again.
Or, in CBS drama fashion, she could accept, they could get married or about to get married and she could get killed off.
According to Jorja Fox, as she told Entertainment Weekly, she is leaving the show to " explore other opportunities." This is such a general explanation, it's hard to pinpoint her real intentions.
So many talented TV actors have tried this route, leaving a hit TV show, looking for something bigger, better, greener grass...and for many, it has failed.
What is the David Caruso Effect?
Why would Jorja Fox, or David Caruso leave a hit TV show?
David Caruso got too big for NYPD Blue, or so it seemed like that was what he was portraying to the media at the time.
It took actor David Caruso a number of years to bounce back from his departure from the popular NYPD Blue. Caruso starred on this popular crime drama from 1993 to 1994. He left to pursue a movie career.
The only memorable role he had was in Kiss of Death. That movie would not have been at all memorable, though, without bad guy Nicolas Cage.
Now try to name any other roles David Caruso had between 1994, when he quit NYPD Blue, and 2002, when he took on the starring role on CSI: Miami.
Fans were not happy with David Caruso when he left NYPD Blue. Will Jorja Fox suffer the same fate?

Post a CommentI'm deeply sorry that jorja has left CSI. I can't stand this idea. As soos as possible, She must come back CSI. Also her character and relationship with Gil are impressive, fascinating. If some producers read all of them, they should understand these writings and opions effect the future of CSI. We don't want CSI to go on like that. Each characters of CSI are like a stone. We shouldn't budge these stones.. So It doesn't make any sense..
