A leader, a President, needs more than the ability to dazzle.
Barack Obama is an attractive, charismatic orator who offers inspirational messages, but at the same time those messages lack actual substance.
Barack Obama, like any good politician, can identify a problem, but he hasn't shown us what he can do about solving them. He can offer a vision through motivational speeches, but he doesn't explain how he intends to do all the brilliant things he speaks about.
Unfortunately, many of Barack Obama's supporters don't even know what he really stands for or what his policies are. They like him because he speaks well (a gifted preacher of sorts) and looks nice. The media fawning doesn't hurt either.
Voters really need to examine Barack Obama's record prior to voting. Being ruled by feelings isn't enough. Without knowing Barack Obama, some of his supporters will follow him even if what he stands for is treacherous and not at all conducive to the Country as a whole.
Barack Obama is the most pro-abortion presidential candidate ever. In 2007, according to the National Journal's 27th annual vote ratings, he was found to be the most liberal senator. Barack Obama is not only pro-abortion, but he goes so far as to support infanticide; he opposed (4 times) an infant-born-alive bill in the Illinois legislature. Should a baby survive an abortion, which does happen, he is at peace with the decision to let the baby suffer and die of neglect (exposure, dehydration or starvation). In previous cases, babies were often dumped in a bed pan and left to die in a cold, dark room.
Barack Obama supports that practice and being such a fine speaker, wouldn't even refer to them as human beings.
It's just what you think of when you visualize compassion and hope, yes?
No matter where most people stand on abortion, I think that most would agree that babies, once born, are entitled to live. Nonetheless, if you're deemed an unwanted inconvenience, Barack Obama doesn't think so.
Are his extremist views on this issue what people think of when they see his smiling face?
Or perhaps the "hope" and "change" Barack Obama offers encompasses the $850 billion in new spending that taxpayers would be burdened with should he become President and enact his campaign proposals, not to mention he sponsored the "Global Poverty Act," which would have resulted in a global tax on Americans, making us compliant to the wishes (demands) of the United Nations.
What's more, Barack Obama refused to vote for a bill in the Illinois State Senate that would have increased penalties for drug traffickers and he was the only member of the Illinois State Senate to vote against a bill that prohibited early release for sexual predators.
Doesn't that make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside? Doesn't that make you want to add your voice to the chants of "hope" and change?"
Or maybe it makes you want to hold your children a little closer.

Sadly, I'm not even sure how Barack Obama and his wife really feel about America - the Country Barack Obama wants to lead. Barack Obama won't wear an American flag on his lapel, and he wouldn't put his hand over his heart during the national anthem, but on the wall of one of his Houston campaign offices hung a Cuban flag with a picture of Che Guevara. Che Guevara said in 1961, "The U.S. is the great enemy of mankind!" "Against those hyenas there is no option but extermination. We will bring the war to the imperialist enemies' very home, to his places of work and recreation. The imperialist enemy must feel like a hunted animal wherever he moves. Thus we'll destroy him! We must keep our hatred against them [the U.S.] alive and fan it to paroxysms!"
The media did not feel this was newsworthy until bloggers began to spread the word; Barack Obama did call the situation "inappropriate."
Also, during a campaign rally in Madison Wisconsin, Michelle Obama uttered these patriotic words: "What we have learned over this year is that hope is making a comeback. And let me tell you something -- for the first time in my adult lifetime, I am really proud of my country."
For the first time in her adult life she's proud of her country? Are these comments the kind we want from a first lady? This country made it possible for Barack and Michelle Obama to achieve what they have. I find Michelle Obama's words ungrateful and demeaning to a country that - no matter who has been President - has been a place of liberty.
I just hope that whoever ends up representing and leading America would be a person of character, courage and integrity - one who loves and respects this great country and who looks out for all its citizens, including the ones without a voice. A great leader not only inspires others to do better, but is also a protector of the defenseless. Is this Barack Obama? It's up to you to decide.

Fact is that in politics, as in life, nobody gets 100% of what he'd like to have. For me, it boils down to dollars and cents. A GOP presidency will cost me at least $10,000 less over 4 years and maybe $20,000 less over 8 years, compared to a Democratic presidency. Under McCain, it won't be as conservative as it was under Reagan. But the fact is that a McCain presidency will cost me a lot less than any Democratic presidency. (And a Hillary presidency will cost less than an Obama presidency).

Obama is a closet Socialist well trained in the Saul Alinsky {Rules for Radicals} techniques. Alinsky's goal was to overthrow our Constitutional system of government and create a a kind of Socialist state with Alinsky and his acolytes in charge. The idea is for revolutionaries to clean up their image and infiltrate respectable institutions such as churches, unions and political parties. According to Richard Poe, "Trained by Alinsky's Industrial Areas Foundation, Obama spent years teaching workshops on the Alinsky method. In 1985 he began a four-year stint as a community organizer in Chicago, working for an Alinskyite group called the Developing Communities Project. Later, he worked with ACORN and its offshoot Project Vote, both creations of the Alinsky network." Mrs. Clinton was an Alinsky protege as well, but left his side to attend Yale law school.

Post a CommentI am amazed at how many Americans can be manipulated with flim flam talk.
I NEED INFORMATION ON HIM...THAT IS NOT HIS BIOGRAPHY! I AM IN SCHOOL! HELPPP! ANY IDEAS PLEASE POST!!!!!
there is no need to have an abortion debate here but in all fairness to obama: he can't do anything to stop mothers who don't want the child. if the mothers don't want this baby, he is simply saying he is not one to force upon the unwanted burden on the mothers- no person has any right to do that. similarly, no person has any right to make an unwanted child suffer through a life with a parent that never wanted it. prolife activists have to realize that the flaw in their side, is that they force something on women that they might not want. they have to learn to permit a choice
some people are such idiots......i totally support Obama....i believe that this is going to be the best 4 to 8 years our country has seen in a while...im not here to bash anyones thoughts or opions but some of this stuff said is a little too much. He is OUR president now so how about we all support him.
im pretty sure God wasnt responsible for electing him... and in my opinion he did the best thing he could, he reached out to a young population people who are ultimately too stupid to see past a persons words...
He's a FREAK! Babies need to live not suffer and die! May God try to stay with Obama!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He really needs it bad!!!
Are we talking the same Saul Alinsky here? His organization often gets mired in doing things like advocating for streetlights for poor neighborhoods. He talked pretty tough, but that was in a book from the 60s. I've been to an IAF event (IAF is what Alinsky founded) and it was mostly church people who were trying to reduce crime. Being an atheist, I found the prayers and invocations of God a little intense. Obama's organizing work centered on remediating asbestos in public housing. He also did it within an organization connected with a church.
Also, Rev. Wright said "God Damn America for...." and rattled off a lot of bad stuff America's done. If you want to bury your head in the sand, one day, you'll suffocate from ignorance.
You commenters really don't know what you're talking about.
