Easter means that someone gave up all to redeem me from the power and penalty of sin.
Easter means that my sins are forgiven and I am a new person is Jesus Christ.
Easter means that I am a child of God. I am no longer a stranger and foreigner to the Kingdom of God but rather a member of His household, His family.
Easter means that I have power over every temptation and I can "No" because God makes a way of escape out of each enticing situation.
Easter means that God lives in me by the Holy Spirit and empowers me to witness for Him by how I live my life.
Easter means that I am an heir of God and a joint-heir with Jesus Christ and whatever God owns belongs to me.
Easter means that there is power to defeat sicknesses and diseases because Jesus has already borne all our sufferings to bring us healing - "By His stripes we are healed."
Easter means that despite pain and anguish, I am cast down but not destroyed, distressed but not in despair, and I may weep all night but joy comes in the morning.
Easter means that although the economy may fail "my God shall supply all my needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus."
Easter means that the weak can they he is strong, the poor can say he is rich and the sick can say he is healed.
Easter means that people of all walks can be one and can find hope in a world of failure and hopelessness.

Easter means that it does not matter to whom you were born; what citizenship you hold; or what color you are, we can all be a part of God's family joined together by the precious blood of Jesus Christ. For Jesus' sacrificial death breaks down walls of partition between us.
