What Does it Mean to Be an American?

A true American is dedicated to his, or her country in every way that that possibly can be, an American craves freedom, and is teetering on the edge of anarchy, a true American will do all they can to preserve the freedoms that we have been given.

We will always hold the constitution close to our hearts, and never falter from it, and American doesn't believe in a socialized nation where the government runs everything in a big government handout, we don't want handouts, we want to make our own success.

An American believes in truth, freedom, and the American way, we believe in our right to bare arms and the freedom of speech, we'd love to be able to start a business that the government doesn't tax in to the ground, we love the free market and capitalism.

Americans believe in good old American ingenuity, we believe that we can do anything if we put our minds to it, a true American knows that our country builds things better then any other country, a true American looks for the made in USA sticker.

A true American salutes the flag during the pledge of allegiance, a true American love the men and woman who defend our country, a true American knows that freedom doesn't come for free, we don't like being told what to drive by some politician.

A true American doesn't want to be told where they can go on the internet, or how long they can spend on the internet, a true American knows how things should be in our country, and is willing to do what they can to make sure it doesn't stray off of the path.

We get annoyed when the powers that be won't listen to the people, we believe that the politicians work for the people, and not to gain more power, or do favors for the special interest groups or lobbyists, we believe that the only favors that they do should be for the people.

A true American is a problem solver, he is one who believes in looking out for number one, and knows that our country should take care of itself before we worry about every other country in the world, none of which would do the same for our country.

In short we love our country, we believe in everything American, we love our constitution and the freedoms that it affords an American citizen, we know that their is no better place to live then the United States Of America, and we're glad to tell people all about it.
