What Does Obama's Astrology Say About the Man?

Happy Birthday, Mr. President - August 4, 2010 - Obama's Inner Planet Astrology

Forty-eight today, is Obama as good as he seems to be? Is he really as noble as he seems? Does he tell the truth? Is he a fair person? What are his weaknesses?

Sun in Leo - Astrology - Born under the sun sign of Leo, he is indeed a genuine leader. Leos are known to be good statesmen, comfortable with politics - destined to rule. The planetary rulership for Leo is the sun. The principle of the sun is spirit, and a fiery spirit at that.

Leos are known as kings; the king of the jungle is one of the examples. This is yet another characteristic that fits with his presidency. Generosity is included. Though many people feel that his spending is a little extravagant, his spirit is in the right place.

Leos are known to have big hearts. In kind, the heart ends up being one of the weak spots for Leos, health wise. Yet again, the time in life that has presented his presidency is good. He's forty-eight, now. He's just young enough to practice moderation, and look after keeping his heart strong through good diet, and plenty of exercise.

Exercise needs to be moderated due to another Leo weakness, which is the back and spine where a lot of the solar energy is stored. More than this, Leos are notorious for overwork and burning the midnight oil. How one can run a great country like the U.S., and still not be guilty of overwork could just prove be the impossible feat.

Moon in Gemini - Astrology -The moon represents the emotional placement, and Obama's is the sign of the twins. The positive aspect is one of the most commonly remarkable features of this president - his linguistic fluency and ability to communicate. The less positive side of this aspect is that it sometimes affects the nervous disposition.

Venus is in the sign of Cancer - Astrology - This planet covers his love nature explaining the importance placed on his two daughters. Love of family and home life play heavily into our President's existence.

His motto, "We're all in this together," supports the notion of his family orientation. He does seem to look at the country as one big family of man.

The nice part about the arrangement of energies here is the sensitivity that comes with a Cancerian influence. As Cancer is a water sign, the extroverted qualities of Leo become somewhat tempered. Water and fire are both powerful in their own rite.

More than this, the sensitivity factor may serve to play down some of the egotistical, pompous aspects typically associated with the sign of Leo.

Aquarius Rising - Astrology - All of the above comes under a sort of umbrella, which is the rising sign. The rising sign expresses outward motivations, and the self that is presented to the world. His rising sign is in opposition to his sun sign, which supports the conditions of his mother's liaison with the father who was absent during most of Obama's growing up as a young boy.

Aquarius is best known as a thinking sign. A sign of humanitarian concerns. Bernie Ashman brings up an interesting point: Aquarius. "Does this sign fit? Actually, yes. He is being seen as an agent of change"

In conclusion, these are the planets that form the inside influences that make the man who he is. More could be said, but more in- depth analysis will be forthcoming in Part II of Barack Obama's astrology chart.
