What Does Toyota Have in Store for Us in 2008?

I currently drive a 2005 Toyota Corolla that I bought in March of that same year. And I almost bought a 2005 Toyota Matrix instead of the Corolla. Since I am familiar with previous models of both cars, I can't wait to see what Toyota has in store for us with the 2008 Toyota Corolla and Matrix.

The Toyota Corolla is apparently in its 9th generation. Honestly, I think that there is a lot of room for improvements based upon my experience with my 2005 Toyota Corolla. One of my main complaints with my 2005 Toyota Corolla is how noisy of a drive it is. A terrible squeaking noise comes from the vents when the wind is blowing really hard or when you drive really fast, as in above 70 mph. The also does not have a lot of get up and go. An increase in horsepower for this little economy would be much needed and much appreciated.

There is not a lot of newness to the 2008 Toyota Corolla as it appears to be more of a carryover from the 2007 edition. Available models will still range from the low end CE model to the high end LE model. The standard 126 horsepower engine is still all that is offered as well. The 2008 Toyota Corolla still remains to be a great value, with prices starting at $14,405 MSRP for the CE model, at $15, 450 MSRP for the S model and at $15,615 MSRP for the LE model. The 2008 Toyota Corolla has a stylish and contemporary and it retains that legendary Toyota quality and dependability that it is so well known for having. One major noticeable difference in the 2008 Toyota Corolla is the front of the car. From the front, the 2008 Toyota Corolla has a longer nose that resembles the Toyota Camry. This really makes the 2008 Toyota Corolla look pretty classy. It has a sleeker look to it now.

There is also talk of some additional variations to the 2008 Toyota Corolla lineup. Motor Authority suggests that a hybrid version and maybe even a diesel to go along with the 1.8-litre petrol powerplant of the 2008 Toyota Corolla is in the works. And there will be different bodies that will include a hatchback and wagon.
