.) Set some goals - Everybody has ideas of what they want to accomplish with their life. Take a moment and write those down on a list. It has been said that you are more likely to accomplish a goal if it is physically written down on paper.
.) Make a new budget - A new baby comes right along with new expenses. Be sure you are prepared for those financial challenges by researching prices of baby basics in local stores, ads, or online. Try and determine how much this bundle of joy will cost you and make provisions within your budget.
.) Do you have a name? - I know many of you may think I am crazy because you have a list of 5 girl and 5 boy names ready for when that day finally comes, but you would be surprised how many people go through all the work of trying to concieve and then struggle with finding a name at the last minute! Thumb through all those baby magazines and get an idea for which names you like!
.) Organize your house - I know, this seems like the last thing that you would want to do. When you get that positive pregnancy test though, time will fly by and you will wonder when on earth you will have the time to get everything ready for the baby!
.) Pamper yourself - Paint your toes, take a 2-hour bubble bath, do an at home spa facial. Taking care of yourself will help you to relax, plus, once you are pregnant it won't be too long before you wont be able to reach those toes!
There are countless numbers of things to do to pass the time. You will hear (mostly from people who got pregnant fast, or who have never had children) that the best thing you can do is "relax". Since we who are trying to conceive know that it is impossible to "not think about it and let it happen," find ways to amuse yourself the best you can! You will get there!
