What is Duros Con Salsa?

Mexican Food

Pure Writing
Every year I go to Mexico I usually eat all kinds of different stand foods, stands in Mexico are just like New York City, New York. In New York City there usually is mobile hot dog stands, and in Mexico they have Duro con Salsa stands, which are very mobile. In this article I will explain what a Duro con Salsa is and I will describe these mobile vendors. I hope you all will enjoy my Mexican food article, and please come back to read more food articles in the future.

To being with Duros con Salsa is a very good snack to eat on a cool day, because it's very spicy and very good to eat. Duros con Salsa are basically pork rinds which are cut up to two feet in length and one food in width. Dusos con Salsa are cut then a special salsa with a lot of tomatoes is added to the top of the Duro, and the salsa also has a lot of peppers in it. And, other special ingredients are in the salsa but I am not aware of the other special ingredients. The salsa is then spread evenly over the Duro and then lime is sprinkled over the top to add that special kick of flavor. The taste is very spicy and tangy and it's very good, and it's high in protein. I always buy me at least one when I go to Mexico, because Duros de Salsa are very good and I also buy a good Mexican soda.

The vendors are very mobile they usually hang out in the Jardines or historical gardens in towns across Mexico. These vendors carry all their equipment in these big clean baskets and they come over where you are sitting and they prepare these tasty snacks. And, then they move over to the next customer, to me it's like a big cater service. It kind of nice to be catered to in a inexpensive fashion, instead of paying those high dollar fees at a fancy restaurant.

I just wanted to say that I have enjoyed all my different food adventures in my country of Mexico, and I will keep on writing about my culture for years to come. I am very grateful on my recent comments on my food articles, and I wanted to thank all my fans for making me a success. I encourage all my readers to leave me comment in the box below.

    Just started searching.....
I bouht a small quantity of "duros" at supermarket, nobody in produce at time knew much about them, how to cook etc.
They are small, pale red pieces about the size of a quarter, tad bigger. Look like small, plastic wagon wheels.
Supposed to cook like pasta? Or how? Somebody at work thought most are soaked for awhile and then stir-fried? and
