With standard convertibles, you have to be at a dead stop to operate your convertible top. They built this feature in as an added safety device, which does have its merits yet can sometimes be an inconvenience, like in sudden down pours of rain. In my quest to see if there was any technology yet developed to by pas the standard convertible top functioning I came across the EOS Roof Control Module Ultimate. Right off the bat I saw one draw back; it is configured just for the Volkswagen EOS. Now a roof control module would be great if I had a Volkswagen EOS, but this girl does not.
Needles to say I read on, Volkswagen or not, just to see what was up with the EOS Roof Control Module. If the technology was out there to bypass standard settings in one convertible, surly they can come up with ways to bypass it in other brands so I wanted to know just how the EOS Roof Control Module functioned. According to the site I saw this module on(EOS VCM Ultimate), if you install an EOS-Roof Control Module Ultimate there would be no more constantly checking the weather hourly to make sure it is okay to drop your top. No more costly trips to the auto detailer to get your convertible, (Volkswagen that is) detailed due to being caught in the rain. In addition, you could impress a whole lot of people while acting like Joe or Julie Cool lowering your hardtop while cruising down the road. Okay, so that adds another plus to owning a convertible Volkswagen EOS since this nifty device only works with them.
So now, I will get down to the basics of the claimed functions of the EOS-Roof Control Module Ultimate. The EOS-Roof Control Module Ultimate is a module that allows you to operate your convertible top of your Volkswagen EOS either by a push of a button inside your car or by remote. You can drive up to 40 mph and actually raise or lower your convertible top. The control module can also operate functions such as indicator lights (like how many comfort blinks you want), reverse alarms, and actually quite a bit more. If you own a Volkswagen EOS convertible, you might want to check out EOS-Roof Control Module Ultimate. However, I just thought I would share that there could be hope for us who do not own a convertible Volkswagen EOS in the future. Since there is technology is out there like the Ultimate and maybe they will develop one for other brands of convertibles.
