What is Evil?

Hector Martinez
Evil is a substance that will never have a rational or mathematical equation. There is no rational reason for the atrocities that have and will be committed by man. Although, I believe that there is an innate explanation that we fail to accept. Evil is an action. Evil is result. It is a by product of hate. To understand evil we must understand hate. To understand hate we must understand power. Love and hate are the two strongest forces in the universe. One can not exist without the other, but I do believe that love was present first. Love created evil to make itself more pure, precious, and constant. What is love without hate? How can someone appreciate a sunny day if never rains?

Hate plus power equals evil. Evil is description. For example, 75% of the population could believe that Hitler was evil. (For the record, I believe he was.) It was his hate for the Jews that lead to the result for the holocaust. What was the reason that hatred was conceive in his heart no one will ever know. But we know that he hated the Jews to the degree where he put his hate to action. That hate cause the lives of 8 million Jews not 6 Million. It is the belief of the author that sole purpose of the war was to eradicate the Jews. If Hitler truly wanted to conquer Europe, he could have. But his hatred toward Jews and none pure Germans clouded his judgment. There was no military purpose for committing so many resources to the "Jewish Problem" as they called it unless that was the main military objective. In 1945, it would have look as if hate had won. 8 million died for no apparent reason except the hate of one man and the nation he lead. 90% of the nation of Germany was an accomplice to the murder and killing of the Jews during the reign of the Reich!!!!! No one man could have accomplish so much without the support of the masses. But in 1948 the force of love prevails. The Jewish people received a homeland.

The complete opposite occurs the pendulum swings the opposite direction. Love prevails! The Jewish people become a strong powerful nation. The hate of one man and his attempt to destroy a group of people ultimately lead the group of people turning into the one of the strongest nations on Earth. Let's make no mistake. I love the Jewish people, but without the events that took place during WW 2. They would be no Jewish state. Maybe later in the future, but not in 1948.
