What to Expect in a Psychic Reading

A. J. Matthews
When I first discovered that I possess psychic abilities, I had visions that come true. My mother has always called them "coincidences," preferring to believe that "deja vu" is a product of an overactive imagination. As a child, I always knew when my dreams were not my imagination because I had a sense of knowing my way around buildings that I had not entered or ever seen in photographs. Sometimes, my visions have surprised me.

Psychics do not always have visions that run like a movie. Most of the time, there are snatches of a knowing that comes from the vibrations from another's speech, as in sensing qualities of a person simply by hearing one say hello. Touching objects that belonged to a certain person also radiate qualities in someone who is sensitive to the energy that has remained behind. Psychics know instinctively when goodness is present as opposed to evil.

Goodness radiates as warmth, making the psychic comfortable in relating the visions that are present. It is always easier to "read" for someone who is open-minded because there are no spiritual barriers, no resistance, no fear of consequences. Evil, on the other hand, can manifest in the psychic as feelings in intense nausea or a sense of suffocation that makes the professional psychic cringe, preferring not to be in that person's presence.

Reading for someone who makes the seer uncomfortable presents a real challenge for some psychics. Maintaining professionalism can become a strain, forcing some psychics to discontinue the reading prematurely while often gaining an insight into the character of their charge of a future that is dark and cloudy. Literally, the psychic "sees" nothing clearly. When this is the case, remember the psychic is not God. He is God's instrument-an angel of mercy, if you will.

Since disease can cause intense reactions in the psychic, the seer will usually describe what is felt and ask if this makes any sense to the reader. The psychic is usually describing someone who is important in the life of the reader due to the vibrations from the reader.

With every psychic, there is no guarantee that their visions operate in the same manner on every occasion. There is no on and off switch. When a person is sensitive to certain types of energy, what they feel, hear, see and sense can be amazingly accurate. Some psychics dream true. Others have waking visions. Still, others rely upon the vibrations left behind in order to get a sense of what happened in the past.

Since I do not receive visions about myself, I use the services of professional psychics to determine the general flow of my life, realizing their "snatches" of information comes to them in pieces that resemble a jigsaw puzzle. Puzzles, when finished, provide pictures. With a little patience, the passing of time will provide clues as to how the puzzle fits together.

One way to approach a psychic is to open yourself to anything the psychic senses, allowing the psychic to give a generalized reading that covers many aspects of one's life without zeroing in on just one question. Why limit yourself? It's your money. Why not take advantage of the opportunity to find out truly important matters? A general psychic reading can give reassurance that you are following the right path or where the path may diverge, causing you to reassess your life and make decisions accordingly.

It is always a good idea to verify what one psychic says by getting a "second opinion." If two or more psychics give you similar information, take it to heart. Some psychics will give only bits and pieces while others may be more detailed with their information. When the information you receive matches, then you have found a gifted psychic.
