Know Everything that You Need to Bring!

About to take a trip to Disney? Traveling cross country for a few weeks? Going on a cruise? For long and extended trips, you must need to know the essentials for travel. In this travel guide, I will take you step by step for what you need.

First off, you must think like you are going to be stranded on an island, and you need to survive! This will assure you have all of the essentials. To start, make a checklist, including all of these essentials. Things you should include on your checklist should be food, clothing, and toiletries. Under all of these, list each person in the family or group that you can check off as you go.

Now to start your hunt, begin with food. Make sure you have enough for each person for each meal first, then pack extra snacks and other food related things. I would recommened keeping all of the food in one suitcase, so it doesn't get mixed in with clothes and such. Then you should be good for food!

Next step is clothing. You should let everyone pack what they think they need, then check to make sure that there is enough(This just saves you work). Every person should have their own suitcase so they don't have to share with one another and get clothing mixed up. Now we are ready to pack toiletries.

Toiletries include toothbrush, toothpaste, toilet paper, and anything else you would need in the restroom or to get ready for the day. It is pretty self explanatory. Let's move on to travel preperations.

In order to ensure you leave promptly for the trip, have everything packed in the car the night before you leave. Make sure you get to sleep early, and leave 10 minutes ahead of schedule. Double check your plane ticket(if you have one) and get to the airport early(if you are taking a plane). If you are using an RV, take an inspection, make sure the tires are properly inflated, and check the gas level.

If you have any kids, have a backup plan ready! Toys and games are essential! Bring along their favorites incase the car/plane ride gets a little long. Even when you are at your destination, rain can be a huge downer. Make sure that you have something planned for unexpected weather.

Well, that is the guide! I hope that this helped you, and that you can have a smooth trip! Thanks!
