What is Your Favorite Cold Weather Beverage?
As a youngster, my favorite cold weather beverage was spiced tea; the kind made with lemon-flavored ice tea mix, Tang, cinnamon and cloves. The year I was 16, my beautiful Aunt Marilyn gave me a gift of spiced tea, along with the recipe in a cute porcelain container. I found it a thoughtful gift, and loved the simplicity of it.
As an adult, I now enjoy chai latte, which I order once in a while from Espresso at Stratfords--a charming little coffee shop within walking distance of my house. My friend Jacki purchased a gift certificate for me there and as much as I would enjoy having a chai latte daily, I reserve that treat for a few special times a year.
I also started drinking coffee a few months ago and my favorite flavor is "Home For The Holiday" by Melitta; I love the taste of coconut, vanilla and caramel.

Post a CommentI love chai tea! I also love regular tea with milk and sugar. Im a coffee nut, but I have the hardest time finding good coffee while out, though I love Trader Joe's free coffee.
