What is a fluffernutter sandwich? First of all let me tell you this, all you need is three ingredients and two of them you probably have in your pantry already. Fluff is sold in most super markets, if you can't find it just ask. To make a fluffernutter sandwich you need some creamy peanut butter or if you prefer the chunky style that's fine too. Be creative. And bread, two slices of bread for each sandwich.
How to make a fluffernutter, lay your slices of bread on a plate, grab a butter knife, scoop out some peanut butter and spread it on one slice. Next, scoop out some Fluff and spread it on the other slice of bread. Now put the two pieces of bread together and you have yourself a yummy 'fluffernutter sandwich' to enjoy. It's so easy even a kid can do it.
Pour a nice big glass of milk, cut your sandwich in half and take a bite. Kids love this as a snack or for lunch. When eating a fluffernutter do not be surprised if you find you have fluff on your face, this is one of the joys of eating this old fashioned sandwich. It can get messy, but kids love it.
Forget about giving your kids the same old microwaveable snacks or lunches and forget about those fast food burgers and fries let your kids make a nice sandwich that has some peanut butter in it and taste great. Even little ones can make their own fluffernutter sandwiches with a little help and guidance, watch how much they enjoy making their own lunch. If you can get away with it try using some whole wheat bread instead of white bread to make this tasty treat a little more healthy. If you don't have kids, don't be afraid to indulge in this wonderful old fashioned snack yourself.
Just make sure you have something to drink while eating fluffernutter, you'll need something to wash it down with. Coffee is great for adults. Kids love plain milk or chocolate milk.
