What George W. Bush Really Thinks of Our Constitution!

Joe Btfsplk
According to a story written by Doug Thompson of capitalhillblue.com, President Bush retorted to an attendee, at a meeting, who called the restrictions of the Fourth Amendment to his attention, "Stop throwing the Constitution in my face, it's just a goddamned piece of paper!"

I've been unable to verify if the story is true or false, but if it's false, why hasn't President Bush asserted an indignant condemnation of this vicious, slanderous allegation?

If it is true, President Bush has committed the most heinous act any president has ever committed against the people of this nation. Our Constitution starts, "We the People of the United States...." President Bush took an oath, a solemn promise to God and to the people of the United States to "Preserve, Protect and Defend" that "goddamned piece of paper." Because of the lack of any denial on President Bush's part, I can only assume that the story is true. It is a far greater wrongdoing than President Clinton's perjury about a sexual relationship and I call on President Bush to do the honorable thing, like President Clinton (finally) did, and admit it! It is a far greater wrongdoing than President Nixon's criminal conspiracy to cover-up a burglary at an apartment complex and I call on President Bush do to the honorable thing, like President Nixon did, and resign.

Can you imagine how a fundamentalist Christian would feel if someone called the Bible "just a goddamned piece of paper"? If you can, you have an idea of the indignation that I feel that any government official would say that about our Constitution, our most sacred document, more sacred, even, than the Bible.

Since I have had problems verifying whether the allegation is true or false, I call on President Bush to make a public statement and either admit or deny the allegation. Remember, I took an oath to support and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and DOMESTIC when I enterred the military. I consider that oath to be binding until I die. Since We, the People, haven't gotten an answer from President Bush, I'll do everything in my power to see that he is removed from office. I have promised God and there is no power on earth that I will back down from on this, not President Bush, and not the entire military might of the United States. The only thing that I fear is God. There is no power on earth great enough to make me break my solemn promise to God. If the allegation is false, I call on President Bush, to publicly condemn the story. But, if it is true, I call on President Bush to resign

Whether true or false, I call for GWB to tender his resignation from the human race - which he has only been a marginal member of anyway!
