Of course, before we can begin to worship Him our broken relationship with Him must be restored. And this can only be done by repenting and believing that Jesus Christ (Yeshua, the Messiah of Jew and Gentile alike) paid our sin-debt in full through His substitutionary death on the cross.
Here are more things to consider with respect to God's will for us:
That we trust in Him with all our heart and let Him guide us (Proverbs 3:5-6)
That we love people and place their needs above our own (Luke 10:27)
That we seek wisdom in His Word (2 Tm 3:16)
One of the beautiful things about attaining wisdom is that it allows us to make the right choices. Pastor Brian S. Lewis puts it like this:
"Many people ask themselves "Why is this happening to me?" Or "How did I get here?" And yet, most of the time, we are where we are in life, because of the life choices we've made. We can't blame God or the devil. All we can do is connect the dots, take responsibility for our decisions, and get back on track if we want to see our season change." (You can hear more of Pastor Lewis' thoughts on this topic here.
Have you decided to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior?
Would you like to have a deeply intimate, eternal relationship with your Creator - the One Who loves you unconditionally? Reach out to Him in your own words or use the following prayer:
Father God,
I want to turn away from my sins. I believe Jesus died in my place on the cross. I believe that He rose from the dead and I desire to place my trust in Him as my Savior and the Lord of my life. Thank you for forgiving me and accepting me into Your family, Father God. I pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.
