What Do Google, SEO and Einstein Have in Common?
Why Einstein Would Explain that SEO and Internet Success Are Relative
Article traffic on the Internet, Blog traffic, Web traffic success - it all comes down to SEO (search engine optimization). The relativity of your online publishing experience depends upon it. Whether you are a lone soldier or an army of marketers you cannot win the battle of "hits" on the Google field without the strategic input of a team that dedicates itself to increasing traffic to your site. This is the only battle ever fought where the more hits you obtain increases your chances of winning the war.
Even the novice user of the Internet has used a search engine to locate what they are searching for. Those "key words" generate results and positioning your results at the top of the page will generate more traffic to your site.
One of the interesting aspects of the company that I interviewed with was the two-minute conversation with the Chief Operating Officer. He was Skyped into the first cube in the technology center of their office. Oprah was the first on Prime Time to introduce us to the benefits of Skype as she would often Skype her guest speakers into the show. Speaking to a guy on a screen may sound a bit surreal to some of you and I admit that I missed shaking his hand. If you're a people person like myself, you will miss the hand-to-hand in the virtual face-to-face world.
So, why is SEO relative to our virtual world of writing on the Web?
The answer comes down to a simple formula:
Increased readers + increased traffic = increased PVs (more money, honey)
Though I admit that I write because I love doing so and rarely think of the SEO consequence, still it is intriguing to think that the mere mention of a few key words will position you relatively closer to the top of the pecking order on Google. What writer wouldn't be thrilled to think that their writing is garnering more hits.
The next time you choose a topic, a title or a theme - Google the results and see where yours will rank. Einstein would tell you that it is all relative.

Wow Michele your articles are so interesting. Sometimes I am not comfortable with the SEO. Fitting keywords in the article so that it makes its way to the top... it does affect the personalized style of writing... but I know that its important especially if the target is the PVs= money.
Clever and refreshing info on SEQ, something I'm still learning.
