Matt meets with Kathy, and Kathy says the right things. She says she was not gunning for Matt, but he does not buy it. He also lies his tail off and says he is not going to specify who he wants to go between her and Andrew. Andrew goes to Hayden and his new Showmance, Kristen to find out what is going on.
Then Rachel adds peaches to the ice tea and sends Andrew over the top with anger because he can not have it. The have nots are not allowed to have the tea with peaches, so she essentially ignored the others in the house by adding them. Andrew and Kathy talk it over, and seem to think that it will make a difference in how Rachel acts. Rachel is in it for herself and Brendan to have makeout time and little else. Her days are numbered as are Brandons.
Matt then meets with the Brigade and comes to the conclusion that they will be backdooring Brendan or Rachel, as the entire house seems to want. Problem is, Matt was saying that the first time about nominations. He seems to enjoy stirring the pot and will almost certainly be the first brigade member to be shoved out. I think that will happen long before the final four is near. It may even happen in the next week. We shall see.
Andrew goes off about the filth in the house. Matt makes fun of his being a clean freak. So does Enzo. Andrew may be angling to stay in the house as a maid.
Veto competition is set to begin now. Matt brings up Kathy and Andrew and picks out Brendan. Cue evil music. Lane is picked out by Kathy. Andrew pulls out Rachel.... Matt screws up in royal fashion and it is clear to everyone in the Brigade. They do not look happy and with good reason.
Matt acts like he is so surprised that Brendan and Rachel get picked, but he is overlooking the fact that his random plan was what made it possible. Brandon and Rachel should have been on the block to start with. Oh well.
Matt fills in Brandon, and then Andrew insists that others are brought in on the plan. Matt plays dumb. I find myself saying that a whole lot.
The Brigade makes fun of the fact that the veto competition is going to be about chemistry with Rachel and Brandon being chemistry buffs. Then they make fun of Andrew praying in poor taste. Not sure what that is all about. Has anyone noticed that Hayden and Kristin have been gone the whole episode, virtually? I guess they are having "bonding time" while the rest of the house fights it out over the veto.
I am sorry but I am almost hoping that Brendan or Rachel win veto just to trip up Matt's plan. He lost my vote when he faked his wife's illness. That was way past over the line in my view. I find myself pulling for either Ragan, Enzo, Lane or Hayden. Still have not made up my mind yet.
Lane talks about how common guns are in Texas. He is actually a pretty funny guy. Then he takes a turn for the strange when he talks about shooting random targets. Maybe he is not so nice.
Enzo comes in wearing a genie outfit. He looks as silly as that sounds. The veto competition is ready to begin. It appears that the veto competition. It appears to be memory based at this point. Their are a number of things there that are set up in a carnival type setting. They have to hang out with the items and then they have to answer questions about them.
Three points wins and being the farthest away on a guess eliminates you. Who is going to win.
Lane and Matt both end up against one another and Matt wins. Lane is out already. Jeez. There goes the Brigade unless Matt wins the whole thing.
This next one comes down to Andrew, Matt and Rachel. Andrew earns the point and Matt is out. There goes. This is fitting and a bit funny. Now they must be hoping for Kathy or Matt to win, because they could then backdoor Brendan still.
The next one comes down to Brendan and Kathy. Brandon wins and Kathy is out. This is a nightmare for the Brigade. Now it is only about Andrew really.
Andrew wins the next point uncontested. Rachel and Brendan folded.
Brendan stayed and got the point on the next one. All are left in but Brendan tied with Andrew in points now.
This is half the fun on Big Brother 12 -- Who will win it?
Brendan wins the power of veto by a long shot. Andrew is not even close on his guess. Now the situation is serious.
Hayden calls out Matt on the stupid move off camera. Wonder what the fall back will be on this for Matt. Now we get to see Brandon and Rachel flash TMI once again in the privacy of the bedroom. Andrew looks very worried, but likely should not be. Almost certainly Kathy will be the one to go.
Enzo calls out Matt (off camera of course) and now Matt is looking shaky in the house.
Andrew calls out Matt, but does so on camera to his face. That is the way it should be done. I like that about Andrew. He says what is on his mind. He gets a couple of ticks up the ladder in my view for that. Who will be voted out between him and Kathy? It remains to be seen.
Andrew then goes to Brandon and makes a coalition. Andrew is going to make a big move in the house, and he needs Brandon to do it. What is he up to? Now Brandon calls for the veto meeting.
Brandon asks for reasons to use veto. Kathy sucks up to Brendan. Andrew has the chance to say what he wants and he tells Brandon that he is coming after Brandon and Rachel. Of course it is a ruse, but did the Brigade buy it? Not at all. Andrew may have just buried himself.
That concludes this episode of Big Brother. I expect that tomorrow nights Big Brother 12 will be just as exciting. I will be back with an update on that as well.
