What Happens Next?

Kathleen Shaeffer
There was a time we all sat together, with no problems; smokers and non smokers alike. No one complained.

Then someone decided they didn't want to sit with the smokers anymore, so they gave us our own section. Still no one complained.

They moved us to a lobby or a designated smoking area. That was ok. But we smokers were losing something in the process of all this moving further out of the main. We were losing our freedom of choice while losing our right to be in the main with everyone else.

Antis became bigheaded by then because all of a sudden..what used to be their fellow man, became a joke to them, which no longer made us smokers a fellow man to them. Was this right?? Well, it seemed to be accepted by us smokers. But still not good enought, by then, for the antis.

The antis say stay home don't leave, and smoke all you want. Why should we..we are all human, and should be able to be where ever we want.. the same as them.

We have been pushed further and further out of all activities because they all believe that smoke kills. The only smoke that kills is in a burning house and you are breathing it in, and that is because THAT smoke is thick, and going into your lungs. Cigarette smoke is too thin to penetrate and dissipitates into the air. With proper ventilation the smoke rises and is carried off and away from everyone. That should have been good enough. But all you antis..keep listening to the money grubbers that are taking over our country for their own benefits, you are giving them just cause to rule us all in other things we do. Soon this wont even be a place where we can and want to live anymore, because it will be a place where we are allowed to live. If permitted.

I know this doesn't mean anything, now, to all you antis, but look to the future..if this is happening now, you can bet there is more to come. It will not stop with smoking cessation, it will hit home to every American alive.
