What is Happiness?

According to the movie documentary "The Secret", it is the law of attraction that will lead you to eternal bliss. Perhaps the methodology driving this theme is grounded in the teachings of the Holy Bible. Just maybe. If you understand the movie the way I did, you can instantly see the parallel between the concepts taught in the movie and the teachings in the Holy Bible, they're almost identical. The only thing that is different is the vernacular. In the book of Matthew, we are told that if we ask, then we shall receive; or in the book of Philippians, we are told not to be anxious. I can go on forever, and let's keep in mind that the Holy Bible came first. It came way before any "expert" or "scholar" or great "master mind" of any era. So, what's so special about "The Secret" you might be asking, well, I was asking that too... Maybe it gained impetus and popularity when it was featured in Oprah. Who knows... For those of you who swear by it, maybe you should read the Bible and really get transformed.

It may sound as if I'm against this movie, but I'm not. I'm very happy it's helped many people. I just don't appreciate that they think they created this "magical" yet scientifically proven method of happiness. Let's get real for a moment. What is Happiness...?
