What to Do for Her on Valentine's Day

Jessica Rowe
For a woman Valentine's Day is a very special day. It is a day of happiness and romance, a day were she is reminded of how loved and appreciated she is, by that man in her life. Unfortunately not all men are the romantic type and some get completely lost when the topic comes up. To help out, here are five great ideas on what to do for her for Valentines Day.

1. Breakfast in Bed
Every girl wants to have at least one breakfast served to her while she is still in bed. Valentines day is a perfect opportunity to make this little dream of hers come true. If you are also giving her a gift this would be a good time to give that to her as well. Just serve it up on the tray along with her breakfast.

2. Write a Poem
If you really want o give her something special, than write her a Valentines Day Poem. It does not have to be long or complicated, sometimes the sweetest things are said with only a few words. For example:

I love you so much
With all of my heart
I want to gobble you up
Just like a Pop Tart

3. Plan a Picnic
While going to a fancy restaurant is a lovely treat on Valentines Day, how about planning a picnic for her instead. Pick a location that has special meaning and take her there, or maybe to a whole new beautiful location altogether. A picnic does not have to be extravagant. Get a basket and toss in a good size blanket, a few sandwiches, some drinks, pasta salad, chips, chocolate and you are set. Taking the time to prepare and plan the picnic, which to females is very romantic, will make up for whatever you forgot to put in the basket.

4. Wild Flower
Roses are one of the most popular Valentines day gifts that a women receives. They are a simple, easy gift that over the years has gotten a little cheaper, but they will always be in style. Instead of the normal roses this year, so outside and pick her some wild roses, even toss in some of that wheat grass for looks. Going out and picking a bouquet of flowers yourself will mean way more to her than going down to the store and buy some.

5. Spa Day at Home
Instead of buying her a gift certificate to the spa, give her a spa day at home. Message her back and feet for her, paint her toes, brush her hair and prepare a bubble bath with candles. Okay not all of this has to be done, but you get the idea. Taking the time to pamper her yourself is probably the best, if not the sweetest thing that you can do for her, on Valentines day.
