What if
I could find a way to tell you my son
The road you've chosen is not an easy one.
It is filled with traps to steal your soul
And make you want to abandon your goal.

What if
I could say, as I look at you now
The pain you feel you will overcome somehow.
You'll struggle thinking you've lost the key.
But a new door will open to set you free.

What if
I could tell you, I'll be by your side.
There to lean on and be your guide.
Would you believe what I'm saying is true?
Trust me, my son, it's what mothers do.
