What If

Unknown
We are all taught from a small age depending on what religion we are to pray
I am Catholic
What do I pray for?
Do I pray for material things
Things that will bring me temporary happiness
Or just for happiness
This is confusing
I had a rough day so before I go to bed I decide to pray
I put my hands together
Im on my knees
Gee
This feels like begging
Then I think.....
Is this what people have come to
Getting on there knees and begging for things
Speaking to a man who may not exist
But I'm Catholic
I must believe
But why?
Because I was taught to
O well
Ill give it a shot
Dear father....amen
The next day:
I wake up
I don't feel any different
Nothings happened
I pray some more that night
And some more
And some more
Couple years later I came to my senses
I'm not praying
I was Catholic
Notice the was..
I've realized I am my own man
If I want something
I'll get it myself
Its called drive and ambition
We all have it
People say I am harsh
But am I?
People say I am going to burn in hell
But will I?
Just because I don't share your views I'm not going to go to hell
That's silly
Besides
If God is all forgiving then he will forgive me for my sins
Now think of this...
Lets say there is not a god or jesus like Catholics believe.
What if...
What if there was another higher being
What if..
What if there are many gods
What if...
What if you are wrong
The way you've dismissed all other theories of the way life came about
What if...
They were not so forgiving
What if....

I write to you today as your evidence for God's existence. I don't know what I would have become if it wasn't for God's saving help upon my life. The Bible is truly the word of God. I say it because of personal experience. Spend enough time with God's word, and wow, it reveals amazing things. There is such power in those words, if we read them like humble, lowly children.

Catholic? so was I once. But the more time I spent with God and with His word, the more He awakened me to see the corruption behind the religions of the world. God is not about a religion. Religion was the enemy that wanted Jesus Christ crucified. No to a religion, yes to a relationship with God through Jesus Christ! God wants us, He wants our hearts, He doesn't want us to sign up for a religion.

What if you would call out to Jesus Christ right now and ask Him if He's real (which He is), to reveal Himself to you, dear friend, in a way that you would have no doubt that the sign came from Him? This "what if" is o

    Here's reveal himself to you.
    Then, hold on!!
I really don't recommend this at all because the results are stupefying and electric.
    Watch what you wish for.
And hold on to your hat..................

through me" not through a priest like catholics believe. Give everything you got to God. Read the word of God, you will find him there. Ask him to reveal himself to you and he WILL (I PROMISE this) on my life and on my sweet baby girls life, he will reveal to you who he is but you have to be open to listening and truly want to know. Peace,

Well, Boston Blogger he DOES exist.
Just because you don't believe doesn't make him go away,
he's still there. Catholic, huh? I grew up Catholic, I get what you say. There is a lot of guilt attached to that "religion", but God isn't about religion, Jesus Christ isn't about religion. He is about love. Doesn't mean we get everything we want when we pray. Why is this? Because we are his children and we don't give everything to our children just because they ask us for it. Why don't we do that? Because we KNOW (we've been there) that it wouldn't be good for them so we say NO. That's how Jesus is. He says NO sometimes and sometimes he says YES and other times he says WAIT, how long? Hmmm. However long it takes. Remember to God, a lifetime is a minute. Hell DOES exist and so does heaven. Yeah, you were raised Catholic but you don't have to be. I was too but I am just a bible thumper, no religion here to distort the truth "I am the way the truth and the life, no man comes unto the father bu

I have often thought about these things. What if there is no God? But what if there is?

I'm not losing anything by believing in God, so I believe. As it turns out, he's always there when I need him. He's my best friend.
