What I'm Thankful For

I'm thankful for my God above.
He gives me His everlasting love.
He reaches down and takes my hand
When I stumble upon shifting sand.
So no matter where I go
He's there too, that I know.

I'm thankful for my wonderful Mother.
She loved me more than any other.
She now watches over me from Heaven above
But I can still feel the strength of her love.

I'm thankful for my son and daughter.
My love for them will never falter.
They are the very best of me.
They are my very own legacy.

Even in times filled with strife.
For I know that I've been blessed
To have been loved by the very best.
