What it's like on the other side

I'm thrilled to be a part of the ride
Got me singing in the shower
For damn near a full hour
Got me drifting
Wondering
If you feel so alive
It's just as I remember
Filled with similarities and
déjà vu
On some things, I just can't place my finger
But I am certain my insides remember you
My spirit has been elevated
And covered with rainbow dew
I'm so elated
Don't even know what to do
Got me laughing out loud
Did you hear? Giggle giggle tee-hee
Boasting so proudly
Because you have chosen me
Got me drifting
Wondering
What it's like on the other side
