What I've Learned from the Dogs: Life is Good

David C. Atkin
Over the years I have learned a lot about life from my dogs, no matter how bad their day has been their always glad to see you, they greet you at the door with their tails wagging, you can have a rotten day, and your dog will fix it.

You could be the meanest person on the planet, and your dog would still love you, it's just what they do, they love you, and require nothing in return, your dog will guard you with it's very life in necessary.

Your dog id without a doubt the one thing on this earth that will always be there, your dog will love you to the end, and trust you implicitly, your dog just simply wants to be wherever you are.

You can always count on your dog to know who the bad people are, once I let a guy move in and rent a room from me, my dog would follow him everywhere he went, and nip his feet, this it comes to find out is because she didn't trust him.

Later I learned after he got a dog of his own, that he was a dog beater, he used violence to train his dog, after I caught him drop kicking his little six month old puppy off of the back stairs I kicked him out, he moved out of state, and went to jail for molesting children.

I'm totally confident that my dog knew this when he moved in, you see people just think that they know more then their dogs do, when we don't know the things that matter like they do, a dog can just tell these things, a dog always knows people better then people do.

If there is one thing that you have got to know about a dog, it's quite simply this you can trust your dog, you can't always trust people, people have plans and schemes, people will do things that a dog would never do.

If you come home late from work, will your wife be happy to see you, probably not, but your dog will, it will be at the door happily wagging it's tail to greet you, all you dog wants from you is food, and attention.

Your dog will make sure that your house stays safe wile your at work, your dog can't wait for a ride in the car, just to spend some quality time with you, all your dog wants is a little of your time.
