David James Elliot played Harmon Rabb Jr. from 1995 to 2005 in one of the most popular military shows or show about lawyers in the history of television, JAG. The low rated show has not been canceled officially, but it has not been scheduled to be aired a second season.

Elliot has participated in celebrity golf tournaments to help such causes as Big Brothers and Big Sisters and the Blind Children's Center. He has been in tournaments with many other celebrities, such as JAG co-star Catherine Bell, Craig T. Nelson, Kevin Sorbo, who played Hercules, football great John Elway, George Lopez, baseball great Jim Rice, and hockey great Wayne Gretzky. He has also participated in such events as the Nautica Malibu Triathlon to raise money for the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation.
