What is the Juliet Club?

Have you ever heard of Romeo and Juliet? Did you know that there is a club completely dedicated to the idea of Juliet and the romantic aspect of the story? The Juliet Club is a volunteer based club that answers letters from across the world by people in love or people who've lost love. Since 1930, several volunteers have been replying to the numerous people wanting to express themselves.

Since the story of Romeo and Juliet, thousands of writers have been inspired to write about love. Each year, awards are given to the best romantic writers. One of the awards, The 'Dear Juliet' Prize, is given on Valentine's Day, for the best 'Dear Juliet' love letter of the year. The International award called 'Writing for love' Prize, is given to the best love story novel publish the year before.

On the Juliet club website, you can read the story of Romeo and Juliet. You will be wrapped up in this love story from the 14th Century, and it will make you think of love in your own life. The story of Verona and how it was built by the Romans in the 1st century is also told here.
