What Keeps Me Moving On
That keeps me pressing forward?
What is it that keeps me going?
That makes me so strong?
It can't be my muscles
Yes they are strong
But they dont stop the pain
That hurts on the inside
It can't be my brain
Yes it is smart
But thinking doesn't solve everything
Emotions can't be thought
It can't be my heart
Yes it is life
It's beat keeps me alive
But there's more to life then blood
So what is it that keeps me moving on?
If not heart, muscles, or mind?
What is the true essense of me?
It is can only be my soul
My soul is my true self
it is everything in me
It is my true strength
And it keeps me moving on
