What Kisses Say About Your Relationship

What's in a Kiss?

From your first date, to your wedding day kisses are very important. They can tell you a lot about a person. Kisses show passion, energy, or a lack thereof. And, there are several types of kisses. If you are in the beginning stages of a relationship or just curious, take a look at these types of kisses and figure out what it says about you and your mate.

The forehead kiss is equivalent to the kiss of death, if you are hoping for an intimate relationship. When you get a forehead kiss from someone that you are not in a committed relationship with, chances for a relationship are pretty slim. The forehead kiss usually has two distinct meanings. The most common is, "I care about you as a friend." The other is, "I had a great time, but I just don't see you that way." Either way, intimacy is generally not in the cards. Luckily the forehead kiss is an occasion based kissed. It shows up either around the first or second dates, or when you need comfort. The good thing about occasion only kisses is that they are easy to spot and allow you to put things into perspective, before you fall head first for a "friend."

The French-less kiss is a great tool for measuring chemistry. It can be as passionate as you make it. This is the open mouthed kiss with no tongue. It should be evaluated based on two things: feelings and timing. If you don't feel anything from the open mouthed kiss, this is probably not going to be the love of your life. It is a good test of genuine care, because it usually lacks the lust and desire of a French kiss. And don't forget, timing is everything. The longer the kiss lasts, the better. However, there is another level of the French-less kiss. The French-less kiss where your mate nibbles on your lip is the best was to insert the desire without being too overt. This is the kiss in all of the movies. That's because it shows passion and desire. It's sexy and sweet rolled into one.

The French kiss can be as confusing as it is fun. It's hard to measure true relationship chemistry on a French kiss. That's because not everyone is a good kisser. A French kiss that's too sloppy usually means that your mate is trying a little too hard or nervous. A mate that constantly shoves a tongue down your throat can be a sign of controlling or dominant personality. When teeth continually clink and there is heavy breathing it means that your mate is really inexperienced. Unfortunately, great French kisses can be just as bad. A mate that is an excellent kisser is usually a passionate and lusty individual. This may cause you to be blind to other personality flaws. It may also indicate that this person is only interested in the physical. Here is where you need to be honest about what you feel. Is it lust or love?

You may also want consider the kiss etiquette and other mood setting factors. Such as, where are the hands located? If it is a first kiss, how does it happen? Just remember if you meet a "movie kisser" and you feel the spark, if they such at French kissing you will have a great time teaching it. Regardless of whether or not they admit it, most people judge mates and potential mates based on how they kiss. Don't you want to know what is being said about you?

Plese read and reflect on "In Search of the Perfect French Kiss" at http://www.associatedcontent.com/user/90928/michael_k_miller.html . Reactions? Be Well, M
