Like actresses, celebrity models have the means to spend tons of money and devote huge amounts of time to losing unwanted weight. While a model's weight loss tips may include spending time with a personal trainer, a weekend spa getaway or even a little tummy tuck, there are more realistic solutions for the rest of us.

* Each week take a picture of yourself in a bikini to gauge your progress. For the first couple of weeks, you might want to keep the picture hidden from eyes other than your own.
* Drink plenty of water. You've already heard this a million times, but drinking enough water keeps the kidneys functioning to remove wastes that occur through the breakdown of body fat and body muscle when losing weight.
* If you are hungry between meals, drinking diet pop or green tea won't exactly fill you up but may help to curb your appetite.
* Chew your food slowly. Besides allowing time for your stomach to let the brain know you've had enough, you will feel more satisfied when you give your taste buds a good workout.
Here's the no-brainer but due to its complexity, it bears repeating.
* Get the junk out of the house! Healthy foods only.

* Cut back on alcoholic drinks. Alcohol is high in calories and has little or no nutritional value. Plus, it can weaken your judgment causing you to throw caution to the wind. There goes the diet!

According to fitness model Monica Brant, the real trick is consistency and not depriving yourself. She admits to treating herself to rich desserts now and then. The rest of the time she eats "clean."
Even model Fawnia Mondey treats herself to some treat-cheat meals. Craving something sweet or salty, according to this model is normal and could mean a change in diet routine is in order.
While these models' dieting tips can be very helpful in controlling your weight, remember that different types of diets work differently for certain people. Learn what works best for your body and stick with that.

Post a CommentI personally can't understand why anyone would want to look at a size 00 that is just beyond a joke. I work in the fashion industry in Colombia - Moda Colombiana - and I can assure you that if the models were that skinny, our clothes would fall right off them.
