The best way for you to find out who you are is to take a personality test. This can usually be given to you by a counselor. The best known personality test is called the Myers Brigg test. This test can be administered through a trained counselor. It will tell you your personality traits. It will test to see if you are an extrovert or an introvert and it will tell you what possible jobs suit you best.
Right now you are in need of direction and anything that can lead you to better understand yourself will be the greatest opportunity for you to learn. If you are the type of person that understands yourself and what you are up to, then perhaps you can grow to understand who you are as a person. Once you find out who you are as a person, you will be able to better understand yourself and your choice for a career will become more probable.
If you are wondering if you will be good at something, then I suggest that you take a mini course in whatever it is that you would like to do. Many trade schools and online courses offer you the opportunity to understand the job that you are thinking about undertaking. Right now you just lack experience and exposure. The more that you get out there and try different things, the more that you will come to understand what you want to do. Confusion or now knowing what you want to do with your life is a result of not trying enough things. Once you have tried a few occupations, your mind will become more focused and you will better understand what you are good at and what you are not. If you are still having difficulty trying to find the perfect job that meets your expectations, then you may want to hire a trained counselor.
