The definition of sexy is not limited to any one word, but instead involves many words, and it can depend on who you are asking. Some women do not give a man's looks a second thought, as to where other women may want a GQ guy with rock hard Pecs and abs of steel. Anatomical assets like a firm butt housed in a tight pair of jeans will normally warrant female attention, and even though this may not be a requirement on a woman's must have list, it is nice to fantasize about once in awhile.

When it comes to the subject of facial hair, the majority of women seem to love the rough look. In fact, the majority of surveys that ask women if they like facial hair on a man received a strong reply of yes, but when it comes to kissing them, they relate the experience as to being something similar to smooching a cheese grater.

Most dictionaries define sexy as sexually attractive; stimulating or arousing sexual desire. I agree with this whole heartedly, and the many things that men do or don't do can involve a lengthy list of things that make them attractive to females, or not. I have never wanted to accept the fact that chivalry has suffered from a quick death due to changing attitudes about being polite. A Man That Cries: Some women feel that when a man cries he is weak, while others feel that this shows that he is in fact human and owns a sensitive side. All living things have emotions, and it is sexy to find a guy that has character that includes sensitivity.

Manly-Men: Masculinity has always equaled sex appeal, and all of those strapping firefighters with ashes and scratches on their faces, dirty uniforms and sweaty brows are just downright sexy to the majority of women. There is just something overly appealing about a man in uniform, but when you add hero to their job description it just makes the whole picture a little sweeter.

Men that Can Cook: Most men have no problem when it comes to outdoor grilling, but when they can tear it up in the kitchen, that earns points with me. There is an added bonus for any man that can cook up a gourmet feast and perform the daunting task of kitchen detail afterwards.

Confidence: This can make or break a man as there is a fine line between a man with high self-esteem and one that is just plain arrogant. Men that carry themselves with a vibe that displays confidence and self-assurance is just plain sexy, however it is nice to know that these types of gents are still approachable, and easy to carry on a conversation with.

A Hefty Bank Account: Many men feel that a large bank account will draw women in easily, and that they needn't put forth much effort into courting her. Reality check: Women will take a solid relationship that is brimming with mutual respect and admiration over the all mighty dollar any day. True, a financially secure man has an attractive side to him, but it is not a prerequisite with the majority of women.

Cowboys: A ten gallon hat, tight jeans, mannerly, hard-working, and manly. What's not to love?

The Secretive Man: While there is some allure to a good mystery, consistently being vague about personal information is in no way sexy.

The Liar: Some men lie to make themselves seem more impressive when approaching women. They will typically lie about their income, job status, marital staus, and anything else that they feel will aid them in landing their female target. Women are tuned into this strategy, and they almost always find out the truth. The result: Liars lose the female target, gain a bad reputation, and are the most unappealing of all of the male species. Women lie as well, but this article is about men.

Girlfriend Bashing Men: Giving details about past relationships and how they ruined your life can send up red flags. Bashing women from prior relationships is an indication that you will do the same thing when your current relationship goes sour, and it is not sexy.

The Pushy Man: When most guys realize that a woman doesn't like him, he will typically try to convince her that she is missing out on something special. The problem with this situation is that a woman is either attracted to you or she is not. No amount of pushing yourself on her, whining, crying, pleading or begging is ever going to change that fact, and a needy cling-on comes nowhere near the sexy category.

Men with a Warm Smile: A natural charming smile is one of the greatest attractions of a man. It exudes an aura of congeniality and establishes that a guy is more than likely charismatic.

A Man that Looks You in the Eyes: A man who knows how to give good eye contact while conversing with a woman is a man who knows how to communicate. Eye contact, and this doesn't mean ogling, makes a woman feel attended to and special.

Men with a Sense of Humor: Most women will tell you that a great sense of humor is a must for any man who wants to be regarded as sexy.

Intelligence: A man that can communicate with a woman while showing an intelligent side that doesn't come off as the ultimate know-it-all is considered sexy by most women.

Faithful Men: A loyal man is definitely a sexy one. There is nothing sexy about a cheater.

The Serious Man: While showing an air that everything around you is of great importance, it is nice to find a guy with a playful side as well. Being too serious all of the time can be a bore. A guy that can balance his serious and playful side at just the right moments is not only admirable, it is just plain sexy.

Cargo Magazine surveyed 866 women on what makes a man look sexy, and 58% of the women surveyed said the sexiest clothing a man can wear is tight blue jeans and a form fitting t-shirt, but what about the clothing under the jeans? Women preferred boxers. When it came to men and cologne, 77% of the women said most men wear way too much of it.
