The new life I will embrace
A single tear trickles down my face
Happiness is in the air
The excitement is more than a mother can bare
Love touches us so quick
Believe me, it will always stick
The cries from the little one
Is so cute, yet fun
As the days pass, they just don't last
Each little one grows so fast
All the boo boos you make better
Each wonderful moment you write in a letter
The smiles, frowns, and laughter
Now all grown up, but still yours to embrace
