What is Metaphysics and How Does it Relieve Stress?

Stress relief really can be found through the use of Metaphysic's many teachings. According to the website dictionary.com (2009), Metaphysics is the branch of philosophy that treats of first principles (a basic assumption), includes ontology (which is the study of the nature of existence) and cosmology (which deals with the origin and general structure of the universe, astronomy), and is intimately connected with epistemology (which investigates the origin, nature, methods, and limits of human knowledge).

To me, Metaphysics is the road to enlightenment, the path which will lead us to the true meaning of our being, and it is paved with good intentions. With these ideas in mind you can see how Metaphysics in general could help with stress relief in a natural way, as you are dealing with the whole of existence, how are we here, where did we come from and why are we here.

With the help of Metaphysics we can make the most of our time and Earth and be the best we can be. Metaphysics includes beliefs in holistic medicines, alternative & complimentary therapies and even natural health care, as well as spiritual thinking and beliefs. With these "alternative" areas in health care you can find ways to beat the symptoms and causes & effects of stress without prescription medications and less negative side effects. People have been using forms of Metaphysics throughout the times of mankind, from the Mayans and Ancient Egyptians to our very own great grandparents, to help with all sorts of ailments, of which include stress, anxiety and depression.

There are ways to help ease stress that don not cost money at all, and some that will take some investment, and even some that your pets can help you with. And, there is one VERY important thing to know when it comes to using any kind of Alternative & Complimentary healing art or Metaphysical element: it DOES NOT matter what your religion is, Metaphysics can help EVERYONE. There is nothing bad or harmful (just make sure to follow directions well when using therapies like Herbal Remedies and Aromatherapy as there are some poisonous plants that may be used and can not be ingested, or should not be used directly on the skin) in the use of these therapies, not mentally and generally not physical, when used correctly.

Metaphysics does not discriminate, in fact it encompasses all Religions, Spiritualities, thoughts and beliefs as a "whole", rather than individually. Keep an open mind and an open heart and Metaphysics can help heal you, inside and out. These therapies include, but are not limited to, prayer, herbalism, aromatherapy, massage, positive thinking, fitness, nutrition, meditation and visualization.
