In recent times, astrologers have begun to investigate the history of a phenomenon called "moon wobble". Tracing the previous times of astrology transits, a pattern emerges when citing man made, and natural disasters. These are often a blend of the moon wobble effect and aspects from either large or nearby planets of the Milky Way.
First discovered in the 1930's by astrologer, Carl Payne Toby, he calculated specific angles between the Sun and the Moon, with the axis angle of the Moon. A relationship becomes apparent with coinciding events.
Zero, ninety, and one hundred eighty degrees are the not-so-magical numbers traced to "bad" aspects between the Sun and Moon. When conjoined with larger planets the whole picture materializes.
The Moon wobbles happen when the axis of the moon tilts, ever so slightly, changing in its relationship with other major celestial bodies.
One example is the recent New Moon Solar Eclipse along with an opposition between both Saturn and Mars in retrograde motion. During the week preceding the January 15 eclipse of the Moon, Haiti's Port-au-Prince earthquake devastated this island country.
The impact of an eclipse can occur before or after the actual event, depending on the location of surrounding planets. Here are the astrology forecasts based on planetary convergences for the remainder of 2010:
Lunar Eclipse June 26 - Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, Uranus, and Pluto are forming detrimental aspects. As mentioned in earlier articles, both transiting Jupiter, and Uranus enter the fire sign of Aries.
Libra Sun and Moon Nodes September 30 - More Aries action involves the Full Moon, Venus, and Mars.
Lunar Eclipse Dec 21- blends in with upcoming events of the 24th involving Mars, Saturn, and Pluto.
Speculation has it that losses from these cataclysmic events could be greatly reduced when accurately predicted ahead of time. Wouldn't it be wonderful if science and astrology joined forces?

Didn't know!
I hadn't heard "Moon wobble" before. This was informative, Carol. Cheers :)
I know what you mean, Pauline, it's a serious issue, but the description almost sounds like a toy.
Love the expression, moon wobble, but I guess the effects can be serious.
