What Do Moviegoers Think of Sarah Palin's 'The Undefeated?'

John Barnett
Sarah Palin has become an incredibly controversial figure on the political scene. Though she enjoyed a brief grace period during the 2008 election she quickly garnered a significant amount of negative publicity. Filled with presidential ambitions, Palin has attempted to combat this with a television program, interviews, a book, and now a feature length film. What have been some of the viewer reactions to the Pay-Per-View release of "Sarah Palin: The Undefeated?"

"This isn't a documentary. This is cinematic plastic surgery. They sewed and grafted positive clips about Sarah Palin into a massive infomercial. I wasn't presented with any kind of thought provoking insight into the woman, her history, or her ideals. This isn't a documentary at all!" Natalie Black, 22, Memphis

"Who is this marketed to? The people who hate her will do so even more when they learn about this biased piece of trash. They certainly aren't going to pay to see it! Her fans are mostly rednecks that don't know where their TV remotes are anyway. The only reason I watched it is out of curiosity and I wasn't at all impressed at all." Amber Barton, 37, Raleigh

"From start to finish they paint her as some kind of casualty to political predators. Most scenes are made of little more than die-hard Palin fans defending her every word or action. It almost felt like I was watching a two-hour long FOX News special- complete with a big middle finger to the Democrats." Benjamin Cortez, 32, Collierville

"I was excited to hear that Palin was getting her chance to lash out at critics with a movie. I must admit to be disappointed that she wasn't directly involved. It was nice hearing her voice and seeing her image, but a really real documentary should feature her. Otherwise a fine piece of cinema. Anyone that criticizes her should see this and realize she deserves her support. She's the only sane politician left." Andrew Calhoon, Crawfordville

"I'm ashamed to admit I'm fairly enthralled by the stories about Palin. How a woman so ignorant and backwards could get so popular on the political circuit is beyond me. Her knowledge on foreign policy is non-existent and her verbal skills make Bush look eloquent. As for the documentary, it's a massively one-sided effort. The only negativity about Palin even remotely acknowledged is... she cares too much. Isn't that sad?" Jill Terrace, 20, Memphis.

"Did some wires get crossed or something? The first jarring montage sums up the whole documentary. All of Palin's detractors are crazy and cruel. They have unjustified criticisms and hate America. The scene that failed the most for me was the imagery of Palin as a zebra being taken down by lions. Really? Really? Is that what it's like? Interesting." Vanessa Reichert, 30, Cordova

"The filmmakers clearly wanted Palin to come across as a sympathetic, victimized maverick trying to fix the system. Despite every attempt at this, they only succeed at making her look like an attention whore out to suck up all the public affection and limelight she can muster." Brooke Marcel, 38, Cordova

"I wasn't expecting much from this apparent attempt at Palin promotion, but I didn't guess it would be so blatantly biased. They make no effort to portray a balanced argument. Her Alaskan fans and Tea Party followers just nod and grin while chanting her name like she's some angelic savior. They insist no individual has the right to harbor resentment or disapproval of their beloved Palin." Ted O'Neil, 37, Jackson
